Conversation Sabbath is an annual event organized by The Conversation Project. Each year faith communities across the nation focus on changing the culture of dying in America by promoting conversations about what matters most to us. To read more about Conversation Sabbath see The Conversation Project webpage, which offers many free resources for faith communities to use.
CIAC offers free support to local faith communities during this week and any time of the year. CIAC volunteers can provide free guest speakers, organize a book discussion or film showing of Atul Gawande's Being Mortal, or host a death cafe (See Resources). CIAC can provide local experts on a variety of subjects including advance directives, palliative care, and hospice. Let us know how we can help you bring the Conversation to your congregation!
